HISTORY

Kacau started as a company that wanted to make a difference in the chocolate world. It’s a business created by two friends one from Ecuador the other from Peru. The idea of creating Kacau was to create a distinctive experience on every chocolate bar, taking advantage of the world’s finest cacao beans produced in Ecuador.

 

We worked with an artist to develop the designs on each bar. Having a chef in the team gave us an opportunity to play around with endemic flavors from the region. We created 11 original chocolate bars. Each bar has its own identity and flavor. We have carefully chosen the cocoa beans from organic fine flavored Arriba cacao grown in different sustainable farms of Ecuador.

 

Our bars are made with dark chocolate in different percentages, allowing the consumer to encounter a spectacular mixture between the world’s finest cacao and particular flavors that will enhance their taste buds experience and bring them to a whole new level. Kacau brings pure chocolate 100% quality guaranteed, with all the health benefits and rich flavor of Ecuadorian cacao and our chosen mixture of spices, fruits and aromas.

NARANJILLA & LEMON GRASS

The ancestral cocoa bean blends with the sweet aroma of lemongrass and finishes with the exotic citrus flavor of naranjilla in this delectable chocolate specialty.

COFFEE, CARDAMOM & MOLLE

Pink pepper provides a subtle sweet and spicy experience wich, when combined with the flavors of cardamom and coffee, gives this chocolate a characteristically unique taste.

MATCHA & LEMON
